    1997 SLT780 fuel float replacement ?????

Fuel gauge on MFD of my SLT780 is showing empty. I have replaced MFD with one of my others and same thing so I know MFD is not the problem. I Ohm tested the wire coming out of sender unit and get a reading of around 198 even though the tank is nearly full. So, my deduction is the fuel float is bad. Does this sound correct to you all? If so, the question is how to remove fuel tank enough to get sender out to access float. I don't even see any bolts holding the tank in? Do you have to break the styrofoam out on each side to find them? Anyone have advice on how to do this simply?
    Thanks,
    Troy

Have a look at the online parts diagrams.

The bolts are way down at the bottom of the tank sides

Thank you, doesn't look like it's going to be fun getting them out! Next question, where do I get a new float at? All the parts places I look at on-line and diagrams I find, there's no fuel float listed as a part?
