? about installing shut off valve on GTX RFI (diagram included)
Hey guys quick noob question. I just got back from the hard ware store with a valve to put on the engine supply hose, my question is with the RFI model do I need to put it on there before the T connector going to the muffler?

If your talking about installing a valve to cut off the pressurized water from the Jet Pump when towing the ski.
YES, install the valve as close to the high pressure inlet from the Jet Pump as possible. (before the "T" which goes to the WCV on the top of the Water Box)

If you do it after the "T" you have wasted your time.

This is what we used. Found at Lowes for $11 bucks.
Its all brass, 3/4 fitting, I made sure the ID of the valve is the same as the ID of my intake hose. Fit great, just cut the hose and stuck it right in and secured.
