    rxp hull scratch fixes??

Unfortuntely my seadoo lift broke causing my rxp to slide down one of the metal support brackets leaving a pretty big scratch from front to back. it looks really bad because its white along the black hull. Just wondering what people use to fix things like this? There is one gel coat kit that i know of but to use it you need to grind the hull right in the fiberglass to use it and i don't want to make this bigger than it has to be. thanks for your ideas

skim the scrath with marine tex, sand smooth and paint black with epoxy paint would be the easiest.

    I use this.

I lightly sand the scratches and spread the gelcote with a rubber applicator - smooth with the hull. I then sand it down and buff it out.

    See Gelcote >> http://www.gelcoat.ca/index.php?p=pr...=64&parent=107

I use JB Weld on the clean surface sand down and paint with black enamel. No strength needed just filling scufs and cracks.
