gtx running great, then bogs down, great, down, great, down etc.. please help
I have a 00 GTX RFI we just got it back from seadoo after having the 100hr service done and the DESS replaced. (We bought it about 4 months ago so I wanted to spend the extra $$ and have the seadoo guy do the 100hr and run the buds) everything came back great they water tested it said it was good to go.
Yesterday were out on the river all day, ran it about 4 times at 30-60min intervals, the last time we took it out it started acting very weird, we would be at WOT and it would just lose speed down to like 15-25 MPH and then kick back up to WOT like nothing had happened. It did this several times as I was trying to get back to the dock. We pull it out on the trailer, nothing in the impeller, pulled the brand new sparks plugs out they were like a dark color but not wet.
Anyone know whats going on here? My only thought is injectors clogged.

Do those have TPS on them? Reason being as we had a DI model do the same thing, its going into limp mode. The tps needed to be replaced.

Then he should be able to take it to the seadoo dealer and they should be able to diagnose it.

my rxp did this last year, it was the the gas i left in it over the winter and fouled the plugs. It would run great for a while then BOG.... I ran fresh gas and sea foam through it then new plugs.

I know the gas wasn't that old, it had half a tank when i dropped it off at the marina 2 weeks ago and still had almost 1/2 when i picked it up and before we went out i filled it.
I did just put sea foam in it yesterday, cleaned the raves and I have a new set of plugs.
Called the marina today they said it might be an ignition coil. I have no clue how to check those.
I'm gonna put it in the water tomorrow morning and see if the seafoam and rave cleaning cleared the problem.

Sort of sounds like a fuel starvation problem. Also sounds like a fouled plug issue as well...will be interesting once you run the seafoam and the new plugs. Good luck!
