    Aftermarket impeller

    I am currently changing my wear ring on a 1996 Sea Doo GSX. My stock Sea Doo impeller looks good with some normal wear.

    I was thinking how an after market impeller, one that offers greater performance and all that good verbal stuff would work with this engine (787)? pros & cons.? any engine mods required?

    People have mentioned NuJet. What do you guys think?

    I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking about an aftermarket impeller...

    There has to be many of you out there who have impeller knowledge. About 95% of the time i'm riding in the ocean.

    i would go with a solas concord, i had one, i think it was the
    the 15/23, it was a good impeller for holeshot. minimal loss on top end.
    call up solas and ask them if thats the best one, others have recommended the XO

    SD-CD-15/23*SD-SC-X0(16.5-23.5)*


    no engine mods required, although i would recommend a new wear ring with the impeller, and consider the age of your carbon ring, while you install the impller is a good time to redo the carbon ring seal.
    i also had beach house sponsons, made the ski handle awesome. totally stock engine, but had awesome holeshot and scary carving ability, totally fun for wave jumping and hard turns!!!
    mine was a stock 97 GSX.
