GPR bogged and just quit on the water

My brother was out riding a couple days ago, and my stage 2 GP1200R started to bog. He hit the gas a litte to try tkeep it alive and it shut down. We were probably cruising at about 15mph at the time.

When we tried to restart it would make a single click, and thats it. Everytime the start button is pressed a single click.

I checked the batery cables, wiring, fuses.. all good. I currently run premix at about 40:1 with 93octane. The carbs are using 120 mains and 110 pilots with 1.5NS. The screws are at 1 turn out on each.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

did you check to see if the motor ingested water? Last year I snapped a keyway due to the high compression (had a 3 degree)...timing pretty much went 180 degrees off and it ingested water slowly but surely choking the motor out.

I cant do a compression test because the engine wont even turn over. All we get it the click noise...

There was a normal ride amount of water in the bottom of the hull after I towed it back with the other ski (1-1.5" at the back of the hull)

Do I need to pull a spark plug and check for water in the cylinder?

remove all 3 spark plugs and get a rod or extension and try pushing down on the piston pick the cylinder that the piston is the highest, If you can't push down then you have a bigger issue like locked engine or locked pump.
