UMI Steering System for Ultra 150

Hey guys I am well aware that UMI stopped making the UMI steering system for our Ultra 150's. My questions is why? Where can I get one to put on my ski? When I called Skiworx and spoke with Steve he said that they are in the process of making a steering/handlebar system to mimic the UMI. Steve said they would like to be finished by this month. I don't want to call and bother them to slow their progress. Is this still true and does anyone know their progress on this? Thanks!

I need one too, called the UMI and he told me that he would make some more if he gets at least three or more orders, he already has mine, that's one, maybe you call him and place an order.
by the way let me know if you had already found one somewhere else.

The stock steering looks alot like a umi setup with just a motocross crossbar clamp and good polishing. I wouldnt spend the money it looks good stock.

yeh, but even if it looks good, your steering is working on bushing and plastic not a real bearing, you should feel the play.
anyhow I'm wondering if anyone else wants to order this, otherwise I'll make my own.
