    pump extension and pump wedge?

I have the pump extension on right now, with the wedge sitting in the basement. Wondering if both will work together? Does the wedge help/hurt top speed, acceleration, or handling?

If the pump shoe is installed correctly, the wedge is not recommended but on PBJ's boat the wedge gained him 1.6 MPH with the pump extension, It was said later that his pump shoe was not installed correctly..

Yeah I think these pump shoes really are key to a good boat. Seems like it really makes the difference and the factory seems to have a large window for error.

would be very curious on your results chris.

Yeah,I figured. Just trying to get a consensus from those who've tried it before trying it myself.. thanks! I didn't want to encounter any serious issues affecting driveability.. I recall the directions stating not to run both, but Ive seen some threads/signatures with people having both.

It's not if it's OK or not, it's.. was it installed correctly? Most are not.. My ski out of the factory looked like a 3 year old alligned my pump shoe, after a new pumpshoe and profesional allignment.. I picked up 2 MPH..

Yeah IMO pump shoe alignment is key to a proper running ski.
