Thread: Please Help!

I have a friend that is getting ready to head out of town and brought his ski to me to get "tuned up". He has a 1994 Polaris SLT 750. What kind of things need to be done on that ski for maintenance. I am well versed in seadoo's but not Polaris. Do they have pump oil? drive line need to be greased? Anything else I'm missing? Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the Hulk
Click on both links in my signature. That should get you well on your way.
Work through the maintenance sections.
If you really want to be sure the machine will be reliable, you have to go over it from end to end. Otherwise, you will just be hoping everything will be OK.
No pump oil to change in a Polaris jet pump - there are sealed bearings in there. As long as the water doesn't get past the seals, the pump bearings do not need attention.
If there is any possibility the battery is weak, put in a new battery. These machines do not like a weak battery.
Fresh spark plugs are always a good idea

Welcome to the Polaris side.
Yes the driveshaft and engine coupler needs grease.
Make sure fuel filters, petcock, and fuel hoses are clean and not kinked.
Check compression. Should be around 100-120psi
