OK guys! Im finally doing it!!!!! PICS UP
Headed out tomarrow morning at 4:30am and heading to Lake Havasu,AZ. Lowell and I are going to cut a set of heads for sea level and recut mine for up here in Nevada. Motor is tore down, we are goin to cut my cylinder bases to get my desired squish. Turning the fuel WAY up and see what she does. Lowell and I will be testing both ski's till Saturday. I cant wait to see the power difference.Im at 4100' above sea level. The air density is a 3% loss every 1000' you go up,same 3% goes for HP. That puts me at 12% loss in power! At 200hp,thats a 24hp loss guys. .Im not sure about water condition there during the week,i only saw it at WF last year. The lake is big so im not sure if i can find anything to run top end on but i will be able to feel the ecceleration anyway. I heard about running in the river there.Supposed to be alot flatter,we will see. This is the first time ive ever, since early 01', had any of my ski's at sea level.Im in for a treat. Oh yeah,im bringing an extra 87mm Group K with me. It will be a great time visting Lowell and Emy as usual, they are great people. Have a great week guys,my phone will be on.
Im taking my 06' EFI Stealth ski.
