    VTS Problems

Hello all, I am from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. 2006 Rxp with 60 hours on it. First ride of the season and my vts does not work, I changed the fuse and it still will not work. Every time I put a new fuse in it blows, had the ski winterized last season.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

You have a short, check your wires. Open up your VTS cover and see if it's flooded and corroded. take pictures and show us. I'll be back

The winterizing process is not going to check the VTS for operation or water intrusion unless you tell them there's something wrong with it. If water has set in it since last fall, there is going to be some damage... Ron

like they said above, pull the vts cover off and look for rust, water. Then let us know what you find.

its in the rear, it wil be black with VTS stamped on the cover. Just push in the 3 tabs around the cover and it will pop off.

Just like what Pwgsx said here's some pictures, as to what it looks like. I don't think I have a picture of the VTS exposed? Hope this helps and let us know what you find out. It's always a learning process to what we find out ..........just open it slowly, snake might jump out .......Just kidding
