    Pump Wedges for sale

I have GPR / XL pump wedges available in 2 degree, 1 degree, -1 degree and -2 degree angles.

In my wedge design I included the ability to use the dowel pins.

The 1 and 2 degree wedges use a different profile which will allow them to be used with an aftermarket rideplate without having to do a lot of grinding.

Here are some thoughts on when it would be appropriate to try each size. As I receive more feedback from the testing that is being done I will update these suggestions.

    2 Degree

Possible use with GPR hull set-up for top speed on flat water - it is unclear at this time what specific hull set-up is required to make this wedge work well - more testing is required

On a GPR hull with the stock rideplate this wedge will provide a 1 to 1 1/2 mph speed gain

On a XL ski in combination with a 3 degree nozzle, this combination works well

So far testing shows this wedge does not work well with SH and FZR hulls

    1 Degree

Possible use with GPR hull set-up for top speed on flat water - it is unclear at this time what specific hull set-up is required to make this wedge work well - more testing is required

Use with XL in combination with a 3 degree nozzle (better choice than 2 degree if you ride 2 or 3 up a lot)

Possible application with SHO and FZR hulls when using the stock plate

Do not use with SHO and FZR if the OEM plate has been angled or if using an aftermarket plate with more angle than the OEM plate

    - 1 Degree

Use on GPR hull in rough water conditions

Use on GPR hull when racing closed course

Use on SHO or FZR if you are fighting a hop and you can’t get the hull to settle down

Possible use on a conversion ski that needs help reducing lift to keep the ski on the water

    - 2 Degree

Use on GPR hull in rough water conditions

Use on GPR hull when racing closed course

Use on SHO or FZR hull when racing closed course

Hi, what would it cost me to 'loan' a wedge for a Yami 1200 xl?

Cheers, all the way from Oz.

    Update:

I am trying to ensure everyone that requests a wedge will get one shipped in a reasonable time period. The 1st batch of wedges will be shipped in the next day or so.

Shipping to Europe, Australa / New Zealand will be the same $15 as I am using within North America.

In the spirit of pay it forward all of the Yamaha pump wedges I had made are now available for anyone to try for free on a loan basis. There is no way I can use all of these wedges by myself so if after trying a wedge you would like to keep the loaner wedge you will be able to do so at a cost of $109 for a single wedge or $199 for 2 wedges.

To borrow a wedge to try the only thing I ask is you cover the shipping. For simplicity, let’s use $15 for that. That will cover my shipping costs from Canada and the purchase of the packaging materials I will need to buy. If anything is left over from the $15 I would like to use the extra to offset at least a small portion of the costs I have into this project so far. I hope that is OK with everyone.

I currently have all sizes available for loan (2 degree, 1 degree, -1 degree and -2 degree).

If anyone would like to try a wedge please PM me your

    Name
    Address
    Phone number
What ski you want to try the wedge on (GPR, XL, SHO, FZR)
Which wedge model you want to try (2, 1, -1, -2)
    Paypal ID

When a wedge matching your request is available I will simply send you a PayPal invoice for the shipping costs.
