    FZR/FZS difference?

This may have been covered already but aside form the added length and weight of the seat is there any real difference between and FZR and FZS?
Is the weight distribution etc all the same?
Essentially I'm wondering if the 3 str FZS would be able to run basically the same speeds as an equally modded FZR?

    Thanks

FZS is 6lbs more than the FZR so no real diff there, and all other dimensions are the same. mod for mod you are looking at the same speeds, grant it each bike can be a little diff so speeds can vary a little. in stock form you can look for 67 to 70 gps so not bad there. so it comes down to what look you like better the 3 seater or the 2 and your color. FZR Yamaha blue (only) FZS black or a very nice red, either way u cant go wrong and this is an AWESUM bike

The funny part is the FZR is stamped with a load capacity rating of 353 lbs and the FZS is rated at 529 lbs and there is NO difference in the hull! lol

yeah its just numbers because one is rated as a 2 seater and one as a 3 seater so they rate an average rider at 176 lbs

So if I bought an R and when I wanna tow put the S seat , handhold bar, and hook on it, is it legal to tow? It's still technically a 2 seater right?
