primer kit install question XLL1200
there seems to be much debate after reading up on primer kits and where to get the gas... so my questions is... where should I tap into the gas:
1) on line (after fuel filter)
2) reserve line (near the selecter)
3) return line (not exactly sure where it is yet)

Run your carbs directly off the "RESERVE" line from the sending unit so your ALWAYS getting fuel from the lowest point . Use the "ON" to feed your primer independantly.
Some people tap into the return. but we have seen MANY times where this doesnt work. If the return runs dry upstream, you will lose the prime due to sucking air.

i used the return line, when i did this i added extra line to create a low point so the fuel would lay there and that is where i T'd in.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF THE KIT CAME WITH A PLASTIC T, THROW IT AWAY AND GET A BRASS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The riva kit came with a plastic one and it broke apart, pumping a bunch of fuel into my hull.
