    Thanks!! its got a 351 Cleveland motor in it stroked out to a 408. 14.1 compression ratio ..1000cfm Holey carb.. .700 solid lift cam. 4340 steel crank. Ross pistons, Scat 4340 H beam rods. you get the idea.

    we had a 70 and 71 351C 2V, but my favorite was the 72. 466cui! woo woo!

    Very nice car you have there! I love the Torino`s!

    what heads are on it? size valves? C6 or BW/top loader?

    are those Halibrand wheels?

    It has the 4v quenched chamber heads with Manley 1 piece SS valves.
    C6 with a 3800stall. Those are American Racing wheels. Hobster

    Very Nice Tim!
    I was using A3AA (I think) cast iron pre smog era heads ported on the exhaust and cleaned up casting flash in the intakes, dayum if ya can`t fit a tennis ball in there!
    I had my friend (machine shop) remove the air horn/choke and blend the venturi. reworked the 3310 holley to secondary metering block, nitrile floats, high flow needle and seats, anit slosh blah blah blah... powder coated the main body, kept the carb vac secondary with adjustable rate spring kit.
    Mallory Unilite triggering a jacobs omni pak did the job really well.
    reciprocating assy was balanced etc etc... was a good street motor...

    this was the beginning, later went to ultra seal head gaskets, aftermarket balancer, pulleys were done etc...
