I used an R&D 4" adapter at the SCer and a 4" SS coupler from siliconeintakes at the filter and 4" tubing.

A 4" silicone coupler will not fit on the Kanaflex or the filter, so not sure what you are thinking.

R&D adapter at the SC worked very well for me. I used a 4" PVC sewer/drain pipe elbow to adapt the Kanaflex to a Spectre SS filter.

The drain pipe worked better than I thought it would. I used one 90* elbow with a short piece of straight pipe glued into each end.

I just used a simple 4 Inch PVC coupler that I got from Lowes for about 2.50.

While you got it apart replace some of the clamps with the T Bolt clamps from silicone intakes if you have not already.

Whats the ID of that PVC pipe? What I am getting at is if its SCH40 pipe its 3.5" ID. Every little bit helps or hurts. A SS coulper is 1-2mm thick.

JP, Im assuming you were talking to me. I have 3 of the things left somewhere but I cant find them. They fit inside the filter and the kanaflex perfect.

I didn't use schedule 40. I used the much lighter 4" drain pipe which is actually almost 4-1/4" OD. It's a tight fit, but it works well. The ID is probably greater than or close to the ID of the higher priced SS or aluminum pieces. Every little bit helps (with the $$, too ).
