Low oil in RXPX
Hey guys just checked the oil in my PX after not riding it for some 3 months or so. The level is barely registering on my dipstick. I checked the level several times during the riding season and it was roughly half way between the two ridges. Im a bit worried. Where has all my oil gone?

Also i want to change my oil to a JASO-MA full synthetic. I have read in another thread that only 3 litres of oil can be extracted from the motor. Won't this be a problem if i am switching from a mineral oil to a full synthetic??

BRP don't recommend fully synthetic... according to manual, so be careful.

Did you use the proper procedure to check the oil? It is: level ski, warm engine, idle engine for 30 seconds, turn off engine, wait 30 seconds, check dip stick. If the ski is not level or warm, you will get a bad reading... Ron

Yer Richieb i am aware that seadoo does not recommend the use of synthetic oils, but many of the guys on here are using them with no problems, and they are a far better oil. And yes Kingoffun i made sure it was level and let it idle for a short while before checking it.
I talked to my dealer and he said it was not uncommon for them to have used a bit of oil over time. I used about 1/2 qt to get it back to where it should be. Does this sound right?
