temp sensor relocation on holeshot kit

getting back yesterdays threads which were very helpful, i,m curious why is the temp sensor moved and relocated and brass fitting and the jetworks valve replaces it why do you need to move it, you need to make two addtional holes anyway?

you make one hole for the water to drain from the bottom of the stinger (!!bottom of the stinger!!),

you make one hole for the sensor to go into (on the side more toward the top)

you will use the hole from the original placement of the sensor, tapped for the NPT correct size for the brass fitting and that will be your water supply after the jacket blockoff (this is the one your jetworks valve will go into)

The temp sensor needs to be in front of the new gasket so it will get water all the time

Her is a picture of how i set mine up, You will need a little shorter bolt or install washers on original bolt so when you tighten the bolt it does not hit the sensor prob.

Look at that hose that is the going down that is the exit i have it at the lowest part of the stinger so it does not hold hot water. Which tends to do when you tap it up higher on the stinger.

I did not reinstall my temp sensor, just using a 10k resistor.
