Help With Outboard Motor
Every time i go to start my 94 Force 90 hp outboard it WONT start. I pump the bulb till its firm. It cranks but never turns over. I know I am getting spark because when i spray some gas down the plug holes it starts up and then continues to run and then starts right up the rest of the day. (why i think its not initially getting gas)
I need help so I dont have to spray gas in my plug holes every time i want to take my boat out. Please pass any info on. Thank You for your help.

choke works fine to my knowledge, push the button and all 3 carbs close up. Perfectly normal. thanks though

if you dont spray it to get it started have you held the starter long enough to see if it floods? you may have spark but it may be weak..next time just give it a pump or two, just before the ball gets firm. we had a similar problem and it was a faulty primer.

Ah! ok makes sence. Ill try it out this weekend and let you know.
Yeah we have flooded her out more then twice lol.
I am from near Madison in a small town called Cambridge. Just got my buddies ski up and running today actually. We will be looking for a weekend camping trip with our skis. Maybe we can ride sometime. PM and we can talk it up.

Check your fuel lines for pinholes including the ones connecting the carbs together. Check the gaskets at the base of the carbs and take the bowls off and look for crap in there like old gasket etc. My 85 force always started fine with the choke when cold.

Thats the thing, ours used to as well. Then we had to replace one of the carbs. It worked great for a couple weeks and now this problem. I will check for a leak. Thanks
