Going to pick up my P-X tmrw, but something seems wrong

welll im excited to head down to pick up my 2008 RXP-X, i was able to get it for 10,650 OTD

the thing that smells kinna fishy is that they are trying to tell me that they are selling them for 9,500 before taxes etc, well i asked about the 5 year warranty seadoo is offering and they told me that i get one year wrnty for the 9.5k price because they're already giving me the $1,500 rebates to bring my boat down to the OTD price...

    does this sound correct?

Not sure I understood what you were saying but is a trailer included along with registration and taxes?

Sometimes they assign a value to the extended warranty. I know with the four wheelers this is the case. I can't look it up for you as the Canadian and American sites are different.

The dealer can cash your extended warranty in and use it as a rebate instead to lower the cost of your ski. It sounds like your dealer is doing just that which is basically screwing you big time.

IMO for the price you paid you should get the ski OTD with a new trailer and the 5 year warranty.

There's some wacky deals out there and I did one. Bought an '08 RXP-X OTD with no trailer at middle of August '08 with 1 year warranty for 10,300. They were selling with a 3 year warranty or about $1000 gas card but the dealer kept them as part of the deal.

I picked up in the crate 08 RXT-X for 11800 yesterday OTD no trailer. I got the 5 year warranty which to me is way better than saving 1 or 2k.

I have yet to really throttle up hard, but boy am I glad I picked this one over the other options out there. 3 more hours and a serivce and big sheet eating grin coming .

That sounds pretty steep for no trailer. Congrats on your new ski.

check all your hose clamps before you go out. CS, IC hoses, water line hoses ect.
