    Riva Pro x charger upgrade..

Finally got a chance to test the X boat with the Riva X charger wheel and 50# injectors. Kinda disappointed with what I got for what I spent. No additional top end, only managed 70.2 today in 95 degree heat with 78 degree water. That was with 2 bars of fuel. As for the acceleration, not much to report, felt basically the same as the stock charger. I am running a new untouched 15/22r, 4" air, stock cut grate. Maybe it's the stock grate? Maybe I was hoping for too much. Oh well

David, did you run the 15/22 with the OEM X charger... or was it installed at the same time as the Riva upgrade? Next time out make a note of the max rpm, you might need to tweak the impeller.

Hey, are you going on the Freedom Run? If you have some details about it, shoot me a PM, I might try and make it.

Rpm 8160-8200. Right away too, just banging the limiter. I did run the 15/22 one time with stock sc.

Mine was on the limiter too. Bent the prop and put an 81mm ring in and gained 2 mph. Get off the limiter and you will see the difference.

David, like we talked about on the phone, if we get the rpm down to 8000 I can almost guarantee it will pick up 1.5 mph. If you get a chance to bring the pump by I'll have it pitched in less than 30 min.

You are on the limiter. What nozzle are you running? The stock RXP nozzle is 83mm. Do you have a modded stock RXP nozzle? I think Jeff is your best bet. I would pitch for 8060-8100 and play with the trim. When the air/water warm up you will fall off the power pitching it to 8000.

You aren't seeing any gains because you're on the limiter.

Had some pitch added to the prop. 1.5mm (thanks a bunch Jeff/05Limited)! I'll be riding 140-150 miles tomorrow, should be a good test run.
