Replacing gauge cluster
My gauge cluster went bad due to moisture. The local SeaDoo dealer replaced my 06 P/N 278002107 with the 08 gauge cluster P/N 278002270 under warranty. Once they updated the cluster everything was ok other than now it reads 0 hours. However now my trim goes off the chart. When trimming it up or down you see the arrow going up and down but when going all the way till VTS stops working the arrow goes past the gauge reading. When the dealer called BRP they said it is because the ski doesnt come with VTS and they are suprised it even works. God forbid they think outside the box and realize all the parts are interchangeable with RXT and you just have to activate it and install the missing links to make it work.
Anyway my question is - Does anyone know if they still make the P/N 278002107? What is the differences between the two clusters?
It is not the end of the world but will be frustrating not be able to look down and see if it is trimmed all the way up or down.

http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=73529 Same MPEM and gauge cluster is used on RXT and RXP. On the RXP they just used different wires in the wire harness and also added VTS components.
