    Thumbs up Cleaning ski tip...

I know this has been discussed quite a bit, but I just wanted to say that I tried a tip from jtskier11. Mixed CLR and water 50/50. Took water spots off my black 2004 RXP with no problems. Just scrubbed it lightly and it looks great. Aside from some small scratches here and there my ski has not looked this clean since I first brought it home from the dealer 5 years ago. Until today I have tried many things to remove water spots, but the CLR and water put an end to them. After I was done scrubbing the ski with the CLR I let it dry just a little then waxed it. Here are some pics. Sorry they were taken with a phone, so the quality is not the best.

If anyone has a black ski or a color that shows water spots really bad I highly recommend this.

    No problem.

I've tried vinegar before and haven't had as good of results. One thing I did notice with the CLR is that it leaves a little residue on the ski. Kind of looks like gas on water or something. So when you're done with the CLR wax the ski. It will get rid of the residue and leave a very nice shine. Gotta protect it too, especially if you're like me and leave the ski uncovered on a hoist during the day.
