Is this too much for a service?

I just turned over 50hrs yesterday on my 08 RxP-X and as soon as i got it on the water got her all warmed up. I grabbed the throttle and it felt like it had NO POWER. No holeshot.

Is it time for an Oil change?
Is it time for a S/C Rebuild?
Is $200 to take it to the dealer to have them change the oil and inspect it too much?

    Yes.

Read the FAQ's....do it yourself. Save yourself a pile of money.

As for the sc.....pm GH......he'll keep you straight.

    inspection

Skis are expensive to have worked on, that is why I now work on mine. Dealer by me charges 13.00 a quart for oil same for a filter. Figure 75.00 to change the oil yourself with a new o ring and the initial price of a pump to get the oil out. I have to skis so it is worth while to do it yourself.Listen for a whine should be there or could be a supercharger problem.

Sounds like a supercharger problem. Oil changes has nothing to do with a motors power. The engine is either lubricated correctly or it is not. As oil deteriorates and becomes contaminated it does not reduce the engines performance. It just wears out the internals.

I hope its not what I think it is. Pull the air intake and see if you can spin the SCer by hand.

Yep, and if that checks okay take your charger to cooler hose off and inspect for grey dust.
