Problems with two xl 800s'
I was given two 2001 xl 800s' that had been sitting for two years. I enstalled new batteries and spark plugs in both. Now the motors turn over but will not fire up. I can squirt fuel through the plug holes and the motors fire up until the fuel is gone. They both have the same symptoms. What should be my next move?
Have down loaded the xlt 800, xl760 & xl1200, gp800r service manuels. Unable to find the xl 800 service manuel. Can the above manuels substitute?

Clean carbs.Drain fuel from tanks and install fresh pre mix.The extra lube will be good for it.Good idea to replace fuel filters too.Don't run engines by pouring fuel in carbs, they'll burn up quick without oil!
