    2000 GP1200R prime pump placement

I've searched for the placement of the primer pump on a 2000 GP1200R.
This model has the choke on the handle bars. Anyone know of a good place to put the pump? I've seen some where the oil cap goes.

Get rid of the reserve switch and put it the there. Or go premix and put where the oil fill spout was.

Have also seen them mounted inside the engine compartment.

I have also, looking for something outside the engine compartment.

i mounted mine inside the engine compartment, that way you have to take the seat off and you might notice if something is gone wrong.
