How much better? My 1200r reeds are in great shape and I have a bunch of stuff to buy so I'm wondering if the cost is worth the performance upgrade. I can't afford the VF reeds but I found a used set of 1300r reeds for $75. Seems like a fair deal but they have almost 150 hours on them. How long do they generally last? I only found one post where a mod said they last around 150 hours... sound about right? Go by the hours or go by the condition (no valve bending & clean tips)?

Any idea what sort of a gain over 1200 reeds you can expect from using 1300 reeds?

With Reed Stuffers and Spacer Plate I got 50 RPM over 1200's same set-up. I have a couple new spacer plates if anybody needs one.
