    Broken Reed valve ?

Hey guys I did a search and didnt see anything on this topic. I have a 1995 SL 750 . I have put the triple outlet fuel pump on it and changed the plugs a few times. It started missing and the spark seemed good so I rebuilt the carbs. It still had the original Diaphrams with Blue paint on them from the vent "Weep" hole.
It still runs exactly the same, I put it on the trailer strapped it down and removed the air box cover. it blows fuel out of the rear carberator. It will actually get my hand soaked with fuel. The only other time I saw this was on a SeaDoo with a scored up rotery valve.
Is a broken Reed valve the likely cause ?
    Thanks

    It sounds like it.

It's a shame you didn't check them while you were that far in with the carb rebuild.

Thumbs up Its a busted Reed

At least I can get the carbs off in less than a hour now
One pedal busted off and stuck behind another pedal. So it didnt even chew it up. Compression is 120-126 on all three. Good crankcase pulse on all three as well. I have had enough high preformance mods on my tunnel hull (Im Done)

What Reeds do you guys recommend ? Stock Ski, 200 pound rider 6200 - 6400 rpm depending on air density. 49-51mph
Do you think Boysen dual stage would give better idle ect ?

I've heard good things about Carbon Tech reeds.

I posted a set in the Ebay BIN (general discussion section) about a week ago for $30 off.

    Thank you for the input.
I am going with the Boysen Dual stage reeds hoping for longer life than the full carbon fiber.
I will post about the results in a week or so.
