Adjustable Pump Cone vs Adjustable Nozzle

What's everyones thoughts on the Adjustable pump cones vs the adjustable nozzles. As far as I can work out both increase or decrease the pressure on the pump depending on which way you adjust them to increase or decrease the rpm. I am looking at the les cooke adjustable pump cone as it works out cheaper than the riva nozzle kit but want to hear what you all think is a better way to go. At the moment my ski is on the limiter so I want to drop the rpm a bit. I want to have a go at bending my prop to dial in the revs a bit better also but would rather do it with the pump cone or nozzle first and work from there.

The rings should be easier to swap out.

"should be"... I'm having a steering nozzle bored out so I can pull the rings through it. Major pain in the arse having to take the reverse/steering/trim off to change the nozzle size.

Sounds like a good idea but wonder how it would effect the steering, if any?? Let us know how that works for you...

Thanks guys , from what i read thru the forum nearly all opt for the nozzle on their skis. I am wondering if any have tried both as a comparison. I am hoping to stay with the standard nozzle so as not to lose any performance out of the hole. I do 90% of my riding out in the ocean with a good day being 2-3 ft swell. Will the pump cone keep my bottom end or will it have the same effect as going a smaller nozzle
