Another Won't start post
I have a 2006 SeaDoo Sportster SCIC that won't start. DSS give two beeps, 12+ volts from battery. Left side of starter relay solenoid gives 12v. Right side is 0 even when dss is in, however when I remove the wire from the starter it gives 12v. I can jump the starter to the right side and it will turn. Also tried new relay. Same deal. I would think the starter is shorting but then why does it turn when I arc it? Any clues?
*Also note, I get 12v on both sides of plug to ecm on bottom of relay.

Thanks but my battery is new. Just got it in May. I guess it could be a bad battery.
