    4" Intake

Hey guys. I got the kanaflex and the filter and such.

Would it work if I took out my stock intake plastics under the tank straps and put a long piece of aluminum tubing in place of it and put the air filter on the end of that? Or would water get in there?

I took all my factory plastic out except the last 1 foot piece that goes up to the seat and strapped my filter to the end of that piece, some take it all out and put the filter in the hole but I left my last foot of tube to prevent water splash intrusion, your mileage may vary...

Mount the filter high so that it gets air from the hole by the front of the seat....remove all that plastic intake stuff...

As for the tank, you can just leave it alone after you removed the plastic runner...

Take it out..Less usless crap in the hull..It will do fine without it there. Both my skis have it all removed with no issues...You want the filter as high as you can get it..If you ever take water in youll be glad you did it that way.
