    oxidation

Hey guys! Can anyone out there tell me what is the best way to remove oxidation from the front deck of my rxp? It seems that everytime I try waxing it, it looks okay for the weekend but then it fades back worse then before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it works as well as they claim it is still alot cheaper then a new paintjob, and a little bit seems to go quite a ways!

I've used 'Astrosheild' for stuff like that, but on automotive finishes...and it holds up great. Has a UV A / B protectant in it...so that helps with fading.

It's hard to find anymore, but places like AutoZone used ot carry it...it's in a yellow metal can.

It's not a wax, but a 'glaze' (???)...but once polished, water beads off like any wax.

    Anyway, good luck with it.

Saw some stuff at a boat dealer yesterday...now I'm going to have to get some and report back....It's gotta be affordable and strong, it comes in a little sealed foil pouch...we'll see how it does on my faded gtx.

most cheap oxidation removers don't work... i guess if you want it gone you are going to have to spend a decent amount of money. I have always used Maguries and it works half way decent.

NuFinish in the orange bottle ~$7 for 50+ apps. It is the best for long lasting. For best try Zaino Z-5 and Z-6 (you can apply multiple layers easily) http://www.zainostore.com/
-always use a clean terry towel (with the ends cut off).

    -Plexus on any unpainted surfaces.
