    RXX Rehab

So I picked up an RXX with a vented jug yesterday, complete other than that paid $500 for her, she is in rough shape cosmetically but I have always looked fondly at these things since they came out (yea I have heard all the horror stories) so long story short I am going to try and rebuild her and clean her up but I need a jug for it, will the standard 951 Carbed jug work? I can't remember much about the particulars of what all was different on these motors, haven't thought much about these skis in a few years...any guidance would be great!

anyone know about whether I can use a regular 951 jug? if so she will be running in a week or two....what about making it a 1050.....hmmm

nice find! The RXX came with a standard 951cylinder. I have one for sale here if you are interested:

This cylinder could be bored to use a .75mm over ProX piston (968cc) or a 1mm over ProX, Wiseco, or SBT piston (973cc). I normally don't recommend SBT parts but the coated pistons that they sell are very good.

A little wet sanding with 2000 grit a polish and good wax and she will look awesome. I just hope you have got all the parts to her.
