    Chrome RXP throttle cover question

I have a 2007 RXP and I have been looking to buy the chrome covers for the throttle and on/off VTS housing.. I need to know what year RXPs had them so I can order them.

The 05 RXP had them... but I don't think they will work The 05 has the mode & set button included with the start & trim buttons... the 06 and up don't have the mode and set buttons. Not sure if the throttle side will work or not. The 05 - 06 - 07 models all have differences in the steering assemblies.

The throttle and start cover for the 06 has different part numbers than the 07 model... let me check the housings.

I think the 07 is black, no chrome on the 07

True... they are black. There are also 2 covers for the 07 because the NA model doesn't have trim.

The housings that both covers screw onto have the same part numbers for both models 06 & 07... Sooo... chrome covers for an 06 should work on a 07

arent those chrome covers hot when they sit in the sun. I guess the black is too but I was always worried the chrome would be even hotter.
