Engine Swap Questions 94 WR3 to 96 Blaster

I just purchased my first ski a WR3, Waverunner III, a few days ago. The ski runs strong and the prior owner took good care of it. The next day I ended up purchasing a Sea Doo GSX, at a price I couldn’t pass up. So now I have two ski’s. I know a guy selling a 96 Blaster without an engine. I’ve been doing a lot of reading on this forum over the past two weeks and have determined that the WR3 has the same 61x engine as the older blasters. The 96 blaster has the 62T motor. Can I swap the 61x from the WR3 into the 96 Blaster? I just figured since I picked up the Sea Doo I can turn the WR3 into a project. I’m experienced in two stroke repairs, and very mechanically inclined. Any information would be appreciated.
