    Intercooler Vent line

The line that people are running from the end of their intercooler above the water outlet to vent out the air so it fills up more with water is what I am talking about.

What fitting are you guys using to get the water through the hull?

Ive only heard of like 1/2" or 3/4" thru hull fittings.

What size line/barb do I need?

    Here are some options: http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...eyword=fitting

There used to be a 3/8" one available, but I can't find it in the store.

    3/8"

Albeit I didnt want wide open 3/8 line puking a buttload of water so I put a stainless set screw in my fitting on the IC. Then drilled a small hole in the set screw. Cant remember what size bit I used but it was small. That way its letting minimal water out of the vent line.

You have to drill and tap it yourself.

Yup...Pull the water line out, measure the distance from the top to the IC CORE... Set a drill bit to less than that length, drill upper corner...Then tap it for fitting...Be sure to flush the unit with water to get rid of shavings before intalling into ski...

be careful not to run the tap in too far and hit the IC core either!

Is it ok to 't' this into the exhaust outlet hose rather than having to drill a pisser into the hull??

Yes you could do. But there are also gains to be had from drying the exhaust out a little. you need enough water going to the water box not to set of the high temp alarm but the less water you put in there the less back pressure you goin to get. This will help with low down power more than anything. R88

    Simple.

Cut into small diam tube that runs to exhaust through-hull exit, and put a "T" in there.

The water doesn't get chance to go anywhere else apart from out the exhaust.

Works for me, ...am not drillin' any holes in my hull than I have to.
