Got some scoop on the new Riva parts

Riva SC Impeller (the one i am running in my FZR) Riva actually measures 16psi @ 8000rpm with MAP sensor in intake manifold.
    Price will be $599.95
coming real soon with a ship date of 7/10

Lower boost Riva SC Impeller Makes 11.5 psi at 7700 RPM
    Price will be $449.95

    Ship date is also 7/10

    Riva SHO/FZ Powercooler Intercooler
    Price will be $994.95
These will start shipping on 8/15

The intercooler system is pretty cool and has the following features.

    • It has a removable cooler core for easy cleaning.

    • Comes standard with a BOV port that will except HKS Blow-Off Valve which will be sold separately.

    • Will have a quick release flushing system and sacrificial zinc anodes.

    • The ducts are powdercoated and the core is polished aluminum.

    • Its a very efficient intercooler. Nils and I measured the temperature drop and it's a consistent 120 degrees.

7/10 isn't far away. Are they releasing a ECU to run this? The prices on the wheels are in-line with R&D. Gives us some hope for the ECU price.

Those supercharger upgrades can be run with the Motec ECU. The lower boost impeller can be run with the R&D Powershot.

They are coming along nicely on their ECU but it won't happen in the immediate future. Still no release date on it and it will be somewhere in the $2000+ range when it's released.

Actualy, this is a bit of a big deal.

    RD C5 15 psi @ 8,300 rpm $1,395 and machining of S/C housing

Riva wheel 16psi @ 8,000 rpm $599.95 and no machining of S/C housing

    Thanks for quick reply jerry.

Have 2 more questions for you. Read a post on here today about the powershots failing in weeks. Is this true? has anyone contacted you about theirs crapping out? If so, is R&D standing behind them?

The R&D/Skat 13/xx series props. Are they all the same root angle? 13/22-13/25? I see a few people are buying multiple pitches and trading them off as they mod. Can the pitch be changed on these from 13/22 to 13/25 as you increase mods.

How much over 13/25 can you pitch one of these props? I see people are hitting the limiter with the powershot,c-3 and 13/25.

I seen you went to the modified dynafly which gives you a whole new range of pitches with the 14/20 root angle hub.

I only heard of one guy and he contacted me today. I told him to give Glenn at R&D a call. Not sure the outcome as I haven't heard back from him yet.

Not sure if the root angle is the same or not. Probably is.
I don't see any reason why you can't pitch up your impeller to a higher pitch. I have done it and with good results.

Yes, this is what i have done on my ski but it still doesn't have near enough bite out of the hole as I'm cavitating very badly. I have something else in the works and if it works well I'll post the info.
