    GP800 Carb Cleaning issues

I have just taken in a GP800 that was laying idle for approx 3 year.
Removed the carbs for rebuild and found that the high and low speed screws were locked solid, there was evidence that someone had tried to remove the screw previously as the "T" handles were sheeared off.

After a lot of cleaning and heat I managed to remove all 4 screws, and cut new slots in the heads of the low speed ones. Only problem now is that on one of the carbs the 4 little bypass holes are blocked solid and no matter what I try I cannot free them up.
I know they are only for smooth idle but I would prefer to get then cleaned out. Anyone got any tips of tricks to clean these damn small holes.

if its the same holes I had pluged were just before the throttle plates, there is a allen screw on the carb mounting face that you can remove and clean that passage with a drill bit by hand,
