If you need help, PM Inkaddict. He's good with setting plates up and he's local.

Well, I used to shim Jim's ride plate with 2 shims because I was bucking without them.

Brought my ski to Jim's and he installed the Jetworks pressure relief valves, pulled all the shims and running great.

No shims at 64-67 mph I stuffed. I put in .096 inch of shim and have had no issue with stuff at 80mph. May be able to go less shim, how much not sure yet.

I am sharing my experience and what I did about it. Your going to get some good speed out of the plate.

From a safety issue, I am putting that out on the table so that you are prepared. I would also say when i bucked, it wasn't violant, just hold on or you will be in the water.

Be safe. Let us know your results.

You need a micrometer to measure the thickness of the washers (shims).
