My opinion was that OTD included taxes?

You have to include sales taxes and registration fees.

Technically, you're both correct. Most of the time "OTD" means total price paid for everything(ski, cover, warranty and trailer if needed),including dealer doc fee's, tags and taxes. That is what i go by when i say OTD.

Now with the ebay listing. What the guy is saying is that the $9899 is what the total is for the ski(including freight & prep) and his doc fee's(which really aren't any since you're walking out the door with the bill of sale and yamaha's MSO)$9899 is what you're paying out HIS DOOR! unless you live in tennesee, then he charges the tax and tags additional on the spot.

Out of state buyers have to take the BOS and MSO and have it titled or registered(depending on the state) Now you pay the taxes due and the fee's to the state you live in.

If you buy a "new" ski out of state. You can walk out the dealers door with the bill of sale and MSO. The only downside to doing this is having to pay the taxes in cash rather than having it added to a loan.

If you look at the bottom of the add it suggests that the buyer is responsible for tax and reg fees.
