    Is this normal?

    Hi everybody,i just did my pump plug kit on my ski,2004 gp1300r,and was wondering if it is normal for the back of the pump shoe to sit a little lower then the front of my ride plate after instalation,thanks in advance.

    It shouldn't sit lower then the hull. Did you sand down the rubber pieces before you put it back together? If you not you gotta re-do it or your gonna lose speed

    It doesnt sit lower then the hull.it sits lower then the front of the ride plate,at the rear of the pump shoe,not by much but it is a little lower

    The rubber plugs are too fat. You have to use a combo of razor blades and a wire wheel on a drill to shave them down a little.

    ...and blood. You left out the part about having to give blood to the ski Gods to get the inserts shaved down.

    aint that true.......wire wheel across the knuckles
