    Sealing pump to hull

    I am in the process of re-assembling a 1994 Polaris SL 750... I'm will need to reinstall the pump to hull... What type of sealent or grease, etc. should be placed around the o-ring to get a good seal. also, what type of sealent should I use for the rest of pump.

    Welcome to the Hulk Monkey.

    Use a marine grade grease for the O ring.

    No selant needed for the pump to hull.

    You do need to seal the intake grate and ride plate with a quality marine silicone.

    Air in this area will cause cavatation.
