Purchased my first Jet Ski : 1999 Polaris SLTH
Hey there guys,
I'm new to the forums, and also a first time jet ski owner.
I just purchased a 1999 Polaris SLTH in descent shape. I was notified that the ski has a breakage in the seal and takes in water. The battery needs to be replaced as well. My main concern is the seal. If there is any way anybody could explain to me how to go about replacing the seal I would greatly appreciate it. Quite frankly, I don't really even know what a seal looks like so I wouldn't know where to start
Also, is there anything I should know and or do before putting the ski in the water...in regards to oil / fuel / tune up etc....
Any information for a newbie like me will be tremendously helpfull!!
Thanks in advance guys, I believe that this is a sport that I will truly enjoy taking a part in !!
