sticker removal / goof-off not working?

    Hi Guys,

I have read the search previous threads however Goof-off doesn't seem to be cutting the dried white glue specs on my 07 large main stickers. I've tried rubbing alcohol as well. The small stickers with fresh sticky glue was fine for the "goof-off" product however the large ones which leave the small white dried paint type spects doesn't seem to work.

I need to try something a bit stronger but don't want to hurt the finish. Can I try lacquer thinner or finger nail pollish remover or something else?

Better to measure twice and cut twice as you all know.

Many thanks for any advice for this dried piant type glue type flakes.

WD40 or ether. 2 more options. Neither will hurt paint/gel.

use acetone. It wont hurt the gelcoat. Ive been through this before. Nothing else will work easily... that white adhesive backing is a beeotch.

Be careful with the carb cleaner! But go one step lower, brake cleaner works and not as strong as the carb cleaner

There's two kinds of goof off, one is weaker than the other. The stronger one will damage plastic and should take off any sticker residue.

Heat gun mentioned above is also a great idea..
