    RPM's??

We took the SLT 750 to the river again today and had a blast. I have tricked out the fuel and oil levels so I could see my rpms all the time. Ran it around 57-5800 most of the time but would occasionally go WOT and the tach would read 6100+ Is that typical of the 750 or am I over reving?

My '95 SLT750 runs right around 6100-6200RPM at WOT, so I think your machine is perfectly normal.

Thanks for the response, I feel better now. I was thinking wot would have been around 58-5900 and I was lean at wot causing the high r's.
    Glad to know I'm normal.

No problem. I'm not sure if you're normal or not (I KNOW I'm not), but at least your machine is.

    Kidding, of course.

Normal to be anywhere from 6100-6300 RPM at WOT on stock machines.

The rev limiter is set at 6700 FYI.
