Pulling Trigger on Build -- HELP!!!

I'm Finally pulling the trigger on a build, and have set aside cash to do so. I don't have a great deal to work with compared to some of you guys here, but enough.

As of now, I have a stock ski. Stock SC, Inter cooler, everything. Instead of rebuilding my SC, I plan to upgrade the SC, and do the rest of the machine accordingly. Basically, I have two builds in mind, and I need your opinion on them.

I want to keep the initial cost low, so I'm trying to go with the essentials first.

    Build 1
    Complete R&D C5 Charger w/ washers, Used -- $500
    4" Air Intake

    • Would you need an external Intercooler?
    • Injectors? RRFPR? Both?
    • Prop?
    Build 2
    Complete New Rude 1 -- $900
    RRFPR
    XS I/C
    4" Air Intake

    • Injectors?
    • Prop?
Which one in your opinion would be more cost efficient?

I'm almost ready to go for it, I just need to clear these few things up!

    Thanks a lot guys
    -Zack

    haha, well I know this.

What else would you need with this setup, as far as essentials?

look into getting a machined housing from diggs and you could do a rude 1 for cheaper

Are you costs that you are quoting TOTAL costs or that is the cost JUST for the SC??

I just upgraded to an X-Charger with 42# injectors, and this is what I discovered/was told:
    - I have an external IC, so in order for the ski to really breath well, I put the 4" intake (cost about $110 and I built it myself with instructions off GH). Then put the RRFPR on there - mostly because with the 4" intake, you are now breathing so much, you need to make sure the ski has the fuel it needs.
I have the following costs in the ski with this upgrade:
    $300 - injectors and X Charger
    $300 - RRFPR
    $120 - 4" intake

BUT ALSO - if you are substantially changing the fuel/air flow and increasing engine performance, you may then be UNDER prop'd. So upgrading props might be necessary.

Those prices I quoted were for the Chargers alone, still trying to figure out what I want, I need this done soon!
