    MoTeC For Hydrospace

    Hi Guys
I am opening this thread to get some feedback from the Hydrospace users.
We are doing a plug in ECU for the 2 cylinder turbo Hydrospace, not sure if there are other iterations. (help ??)
I am really just after some expressions of interest and comments on what sort of features you guys may want, the kit will follow along the same lines as the Yamaha SHO with a plug and play pretuned but fully adjustable ECU.
We have 2 options for ECU.
The M4, older more simple but very capable ECU
The M400, more expensive but the ducks nuts, with loads of cool features like GPS capability, track mapping and high speed logging.

We have lots of options we can build into the loom as extras so I am asking what you want.

Its a cost vs capability debate and the majority will likely win.

    All opinions valued

    Cheers

    MotecPete,

The engine you are referring to in the Hydrospace was fitted to the Polaris MSX110 and MSX150 (110 & 150 HP respectively) in their 2003 - 2004 range before they packed up shop. There may be a possible market (although limited) for your wares to be used in this application as well.
Check out the Matrix MSX site in the Polaris section for more info.
I have a couple of MSX150's and love them.
What cost for the simpler version?

    Cheers

    Hi
Yes I think most all the Hdro's here are on Autronic.
We have been asked by quite a few people in the USA to do a kit so looking into it and seeing if there is an untouched one around

    Cheers

    Hi Kosh
    Thanks for the info
Ok I will sus those out but to start with I would like to work with an untouched Hydro, just to make sure we get everything right with alarms and rev limiters etc.

Not sure what the pricing will be, we will base it on our M4 ECU which is cheaper than the M400 by quite a bit.
The project looks relatively simple so costs shouldnt get too out of hand.

Will know more when I get my hands on a ski.

    Cheers

    Hi aac
    Thanks for your post
I do not understand your comment about the flywheel
Why does it need to be replaced

    Cheers

You would be onto a winner if your ecus were cheaper and more powerful than the stock range.

It would be great to see some other economical options out there. £1700 for a yellow 140 ecu is quite obviously an over inflated price and the red/grey ecus are silly money.

I would be very interested to see ready programmed options. I would have thought your cheaper ecu would be more of interest to the stock/ltd type riders and more advance ecu to the open riders.
