    Engine "sputter"

I have a 2001 Genesis FFI 1200 and it runs great except when I get to 50 mph and above it starts to "sputter" and lose a little power. If I ease back to 50 and below it runs fine. I've changed the plugs, changed gas and now stumped.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    get a fuel pressure guage

first swag would be insufficient fuel pressure at higher rpms..could be the fuel sock/filter is restricted, but first stop is checking fuel pressure when it's sputtin..
I recall 30 was the number, but I'm likely wrong about that..check the manual.

cheapo auto parts store guage will do the job

I've now changed plugs again.. changed the fuel pump and still no difference.
It starts and runs great even up to full throttle when cold. . Once it warms up this misfires starts, above 45 mph.

This EMM and injectors came out of my '99 because the original EMM was toast.

Am I correct in assuming that I can put the original injectors back on, have the data drawn from the faulty EMM and then load it into the good EMM?

I think this is what I am reading in the manuals. As long as I have correct injector data in the EMM everything should be OK

You are correct - as long as the old EMM can power up internally.

A special communications cable and laptop software is used to swap the injector data between the two EMM.
