Looking for a trim ring seal???

The rubber seal that fits around the trim ring has come apart on my 99 GP1200. I'm looking for a replacement but can't seem to find it. The diagrams I've found appear to show the seal as part of the trim ring assembly. Can I purchase it seperately? I don't even know if I have the proper name for the part. I can post a pic if I'm not being specific enough. Thanks for any advice.

are you talking about the rubber 'fingers' of the exhaust trim ring at the rear of the ski??.. on the 760 gp that was left out entirely... it prob quiets the exhaust slightlyon a 1200 and keeps the black oil film off the hull a little better... if this is the ring you need ,its not really needed.. o/e may be the only place to still get it ...(red gasket rubber can be bought at ACE hardwear to cut a new one).... if not post a picture !

Actually, my 760 came with the big rubber sphincter, as I like to call it... Lists for $25 in the OE catalogs. I wish I hadn't cut mine out... It has a horrible drone to it now.....

lol .. spinkter(hell i cant even spell it as i'm ROTF .. ) 97's didnt have it factory, but it would be nice to add to keep the hull cleaner after shut off.. (damn black film puked on a white hull..not pretty)

what he is looking for i think is the rubber filler at the trim gimble, on the streering nozzel... it helps to blend the water flow depending on trim placement.. i think its only available with the gimble...

( call your dealer and then tell them its the trim gimble to nozzel seal, see what they come up with)

I thought that's what he meant at first, but I couldn't resist using the sphincter joke! I am looking at the OE catalog right now for the nozzle part, as I also need one....

Yep... He was calling it right. It is the trim ring seal, but it looks like you have to buy the whole trim ring. It is not listed separately in the OE catalog. $56.39 GH price...

Come to think of it, I did notice a change in the exhaust tone before pulling the ski out of the water. Not bothersome just noticeable. Thanks for the advice.
