    running 15/22r without reduction nozzle

I want to put a 15/22r impeller on my rxt-x.

Want to keep the holeshot,so no reduction nozzle installed.

Worx grate, flame arrestor removed,4 "kanaflex, and rideplate holes filled.

When leaving the prop untouched i think i will be on the limeter.

I was thinking before installing addin a pitch of +1mm to bring the rpm's down.

Any suggestions on this set up?

Every riding condition is different, what works for me might not work for you.. I'd install the 15/22 and see where you are, then go from there.. it's a tried and trued process..

I was thinking the same thing.

But i wanna make sure before installing the prop.

After reading a lot on the forum,i know almost for sure i will be on the limiter.

    I think 8200 + rpm's with this set up.

Ya never know..Can't always believe what you read I've heard some TALL tales and only seen a few back it up..I'd start with the stock 15/22 and see where you are, you can always pop the prop back off and add a few..Jim's done mine a few times to get it right, when it's right, it's right..it's alot harder than just adding a few mm's and hitting the water.

Case in point... I have 3 blade at 15.5/22.5 and I am still on the limiter with an 84.5mm nozzle. That's the pitch they use on turbo boats....

    I don't have no turbo......

I would try it untouched first, with the mods you have listed i cant see banging the limiter with a 15/22.....id rather try it first and see then have to keep rebending it back and forth. i have a rxp (stock ecu) with a c-kit and all the other goodies with a untouched 15/22 running 8100 all day long with a 83 ring.....just my .02

    You'r right.

With the stock prop i am at 8160 wot.
    As tested monday

Today installed the 15/22r,testing this weekend,i'm curious how much difference it will make with the stocker.

And then after testing ,i will go fo 8100 rpm's max.

W'll see how much rpm's i will reach on the water.

After that i will start bending , even better would be if he's ok from the start.

I'm running worx grate and 4" kanaflex with a 15/22r and i'm running in the 8040-8080 range.

I think even with the flame arrester removed you should be off the limiter.

Same set up except i have the R&D. I got the same numbers. I have a stock RXP nozzle i've been meaning to put on. I'm just not sure if i will lose RPM's on the top end.

Then again i like the hole shot.
